The KARC is an amateur radio club located in DeKalb,
IL (EN51). It owns and maintains a 2 meter repeater WA9CJN in Malta, IL, at
a frequency of 146.730, minus offset, PL 100 Hz. The repeater is now operating
at full power - around 250W - thanks to Mike (WD9GNX), Bob(W9ICU) and Tom(K9GPC).
The Club holds a weekly net on Monday evenings at 9:00 PM Local time. All
hams are invited to check in.
Our members are involved in HF, VHF, UHF, SSB, FM, CW, APRS, PSK31, SSTV, Emcomm/Public Service, etc.
